Billing Services

Hi, I'm Holly Torrez of Holly Torrez Consulting and Billing services. I have been doing medical billing for over 35 years and teaching it directly to doctors and their staff for over 25 years. I have been doing private billing services for a select number of doctors, clinics and medical supply companies in for over 25 years and am now providing services to the Greater Phoenix area.

There is a very simple answer to the question of In-House biller or Billing service. Which one cost more in time and/or money. If an in-house biller cost more than a billing service then use a billing service, till your receivables can sustain an in-house biller. Some companies also do a split by having an in-house biller do private pay and corporate contracts that only require a statement and a billing service to do the insurance claims. Use the below check list to decide which is right for you and if considering a billing service which company is right for you and see our answers in blue.
